THE RENOVATION OF THE ESTATE
Two years of adventure...
The recent renovation of La Marnière was guided by two principles: respecting the spirit of the place and providing the comfort and sophistication our guests expect. Work began in early 2023, an adventure that brought together numerous craftsmen to bring this beautiful building back to life.
Our barn, renovated into a gîte, is the result of meticulous and passionate work. We opened three bay windows to let in beautiful natural light and offer breathtaking views of La Marnière. We also leveled and excavated the interior floor to prepare the barn's foundations. The roofing and framework were removed, and the roof renovated with local tiles. The floors, walls, and under-roofing were insulated to ensure a comfortable temperature all year round. The last few months have been dedicated to finishing touches: plumbing, electrical, painting, kitchen, furniture, lighting, exterior landscaping—the final details that have allowed us to achieve the desired result! With our passion for craftsmanship and the use of local materials, this barn has been transformed into a magical place to recharge your batteries, relax, and discover the beauty of the surrounding nature. The completion of this work marks the beginning of a wonderful adventure with you!
